We are Joe and Melissa and we decided to make a podcast Blue Hour where we talk all things wedding photography, videography, and entrepreneurship. We called it Blue Hour because most of the episodes are going to be recorded after our daughters go to bed. Blue Hour is the time right after/before sunset when the sun is below the horizon leaving a blue shade with the remaining sunlight... aka... the time our girls are generally asleep. We are so excited about our podcast and to share with you all things wedding!

We discuss practical tips and guidance to help you choose your wedding photographer! You will spend a LOT of time with them on wedding day so making sure they're a good fit is so important. We discuss budget, questions to ask, stylistic preferences, and why a second photographer is important.

We discuss all the different facets of wedding videography, from products to pricing to tips and advice for booking a videographer.
