Martinsburg, WV Surprise Proposal
Khade planned a beautiful proposal for Ayo at the McFarland House on Queen Street in Martinsburg, WV. The back patio of the McFarland House was beautifully set up with stations for Ayo to go through which took her on a journey their love story. When Ayo arrived at the McFarland House she was taken on a journey of their relationship through pictures and handwritten notes, while Khade hid as she went from station to station reading about their love story. Ayo went through the first two easels that were covered in photos and notes of their relationship. When she reached the third station their was an iPad with a video Khade put together of their family members expressing how excited they were for the two of them. At that point.... guests from the McFarland House's Sunday morning brunch came out to the back patio and started on looking on the proposal. The fourth and final station was where Khade got down on one knee. Right after Ayo said yes all of the onlookers cheered and she yelled "I'm getting married!" Following the proposal Khade and Ayo had a photo session and then enjoyed brunch at the McFarland House.
Khade worked closely with Tracy Phipps of P3 Events Design to plan the proposal. All of the decor was beautifully done.
